HTC One V Review - An Affordable Mid Range Android Phone

Introduction

The One series is the brand new range of smartphones that guided HTC get the public eye early in 2012. While the One S and One X are turning powerful at each other as a way to stay sharp for the incursion of the other aggressors with multi-core processors and high resolution screens, the One V aims at a less violent market segment - and it's priced accordingly. While we wouldn't go as far as to call it a budget phone, it's a familiarized package - and a lot user friendly - less powerful, but preferably not underpowered. Not nearly as extraordinarily geared up as its bigger brothers, the One V looks no less stylish - a good start is half the job done in the smartphone mid range.
HTC One V Review - An Affordable Mid Range Android Phone

If you know your HTC phones, the comparison between the One V and the HTC Legend (and, in turn, the Hero) will not go unseen. The trademark "chin" makes a strong comeback. Then, as now, HTC are concentrating on an audience that look for a phone, which makes a sentence more than anything else, and with a slim 9.2mm profile and compact design, the One V does just that.
But does the HTC pack enough within its smoothly package for those of us looking for more than just a pretty face? We'll answer that question in detail in the pages to come. For starters, here are the pros and cons of the One V at-a-glance.

Key Features

  • Quad-band GSM and tri-band 3G support
  • 3.7" 16M color capacitive touchscreen with WVGA resolution (480 x 800 pixels)
  • Android OS v4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich HTC Sense 4.0
  • 1 GHz processor, Adreno 205 GPU, Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 chipset
  • microSD card slot
  • 5 MP autofocus camera with single LED flash; face detection, geotagging, HDR mode, image auto-upload
  • 720p video recording @ 30fps, slo-mo videos (2x at WVGA), simultaneous HD video and still image capture
  • GPS with A-GPS
  • Fast boot time
  • HTC Portable Hotspot
  • Wi-Fi b/g/n and DLNA
  • Stereo FM radio with RDS
  • Standard 3.5 mm audio jack
  • microUSB port (charging) and stereo Bluetooth v4.0
  • Accelerometer, proximity and ambient light sensor
  • Smart dial, voice dialing
  • HTC Locations app
  • HTC Car integration
  • DivX/XviD video support
  • Polaris Office document editor

Main Disadvantage

  • Only 1GB of the 4GB internal storage is available to the user
  • No front-facing camera
  • No dedicated camera key
  • Some competing smartphones have dual-core CPUs
  • Non-user-replaceable battery

The quick boot is no news in an HTC smartphone but that feature wasn't perfectly blazing fast in the One X and the One S. The One V is more like it at about 8 seconds to the lock screen from a cold boot, and less than 12 for everything to fully load. There are also a sufficient amount of slick additions to the interface. ICS and the latest HTC Sense 4.0 is a powerful combo, which creates a pretty impressive user experience. Keeping in mind, of course, that you'll need to pop in a microSD card at the first available chance, as you have less than 1GB of internal storage to work with once the operating system and preloaded HTC apps have had their say.

Final Words

With the One series HTC are in their best shape in a while and we don't need to investigate who's to blame. The big bad One X and One S will proudly plead guilty as charged. But it would be unfair to deny the HTC One V its little share of credit.
The One V is built on the solid foundations of the Desire, and its DNA can be traced all the way back to the Legend and the Hero. If you ask us, the One V rings quite a few right bells. However, not having the luxury of an unlimited budget, it had to accept compromise with the level of equipment.
To some the One V may seem like the point in the One series where HTC stopped inventing and started reusing. We personally don't mind a true classic being brought back to life. Here's the catch though: the One V is interested in users who are too young to remember the HTC Hero. Young as in new to the smartphone game.
Anyone who would call the HTC Hero a classic must've developed a good enough eye to tell that the One V is a phone that would've made sense in 2010. OK, late 2010. The Desire S is almost the exact same package - and it even has more RAM.

HTC Desire S
That said, the HTC One V must realize that it's mostly dual core smartphones it is about to compete with. And we don't mean flagships, either. The new mid range is buzzing with activity, especially with Sony trying to quickly make a name for itselves again.
The Xperia Sola and the Xperia U are perhaps the biggest threat. They both have FWVGA screens - 3.5" on the Xperia U, and 3.7" on the Sola. They're powered by dual-core processors and it's not unreasonable to expect better image quality. With the Floating Touch technology and NFC, the Xperia Sola could be on the expensive side but the Xperia U might as well match the One V price tag. The clear advantage of the One V is that it launches with ICS.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Sola & U
With a massive 4.3" screen and 1080p video recording, the LG Optimus L7 is another style-centered droid coming with ICS right out of the box. The Optimus L5 is worth a look too - it's even less powerful than the One V but should also be considerably more affordable.
HTC One V Review - An Affordable Mid Range Android Phone
LG Optimus L5
Samsung's most recent addition to the midrange, the Ace 2, is a dual-core droid with the unusual clock speed of 800 MHz. It's launching with Gingerbread and the all-plastic build is no match for the solid unibody of the HTC One V, but it should become the better performer whenever its due ICS serving arrives. There's also the Galaxy S Advance, which is slightly more expensive, but makes up for that with a larger screen.
HTC One V Review - An Affordable Mid Range Android Phone
Samsung Galaxy Ace 2
Windows Phone is another potential threat and the HTC One V won't enjoy being sandwiched between the Nokia Lumia 710 and the Lumia 800. With a 3.7" screen and 1.4 GHz Scorpion core each, the Finnish couple offers a choice between LCD and AMOLED, and 5MP to 8MP still cameras. The superior ecosystem of the Google OS is what should give the One V confidence in this battle, though.

Nokia Lumia 710
Now, we didn't mean to paint a gloomy picture. The HTC One V is a handsome smartphone - there are people on our team who think it's the best looking of the One series. And it's not really all that underpowered. It's just that the pressure of dual-cores may be too much to handle. But then, nothing beats a metal unibody if you want to look cool under pressure.

HTC Wildfire S Review
Repeating the success of the predecessor is a pretty tough task. With the help of HTC Wildfire S, HTC is looking forward to repeat the success of the original Wildfire. HTC Wildfire S launch has come at a time when the Android market is witnessing intense competition. HTC has left no stone unturned to ensure that it packs HTC Wildfire S with features to make it luring for consumers. Has HTC been successful in this front? Check out the HTC Wildfire S review to know the answer for yourself.

HTC Wildfire S Feel And Design

Wildfire S HTC is carved entirely out of plastic which may make it look a bit cheap. The phone is pretty compact and despite the plastic build of the phone, the finish has not suffered much. HTC Wildfire S dimensions measure 101.3 x 59.4 x 12.4 mm which makes it easily slip into your pocket. Similar to that of HTC Desire S, Wildfire S is equipped with a chrome and black look.

HTC Wildfire S Display

HTC Wildfire S display sports a 3.2 inches TFT capacitive touch screen which is capable of displaying colors of resolution measuring 320×480 pixels. The display is quite reflective which makes it difficult to use in outdoors. The display is made up of gorilla glass. HTC Wildfire S gorilla glass display protects the phone from scratches and smudges. The colors displayed are sharp and vibrant.
The viewing angles are not however up to the mark but compared to the original Wildfire which had QVGA display, the display of Wildfire S is a pretty improved one. The capacitive touch screen is fairly responsive in nature. On the left hand side of the display you get to see the volume rocker button while on the top of the device you get the 3.5 mm audio jack.

HTC Wildfire S Specs

HTC Wildfire S memory is 512 MB. The memory can be increased up to a staggering 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card. With such a large memory space, users can store a large amount of data in their phone. HTC Wildfire S OS is Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) which is the latest version of Android for smartphones. One of the disadvantages of HTC Wildfire S disadvantages is its processor. The 600 MHz processor though good is not good enough as most of the dual core processor equipped phones available in the market. For full HTC Wildfire S Specifications, click here.

HTC Wildfire S Apps

Applications play a very vital role for any smartphone. There are several in-built applications in the phone such as Google Talk, Gmail, Google Search etc. Thanks to HTC Wildfire S Youtube application, users can streamline Youtube videos on the phone. With the availability of Android market, there is no dearth of applications for users.

HTC Wildfire S Camera Quality

Camera performance is very important for any smartphone. HTC Wildfire S smartphone is equipped with a 5 MP camera which is capable of clicking pictures of resolution measuring 2592×1952 pixels. The camera is equipped with features like geo-tagging and face-detection. We were a touch disappointed with the quality of the image. HTC Wildfire S flash helps you to click pictures in dark and the flash can be used as video light. There is no HTC Wildfire S front camera.

HTC Wildfire S Video

HTC Wildfire S Android 2.3 records videos @ 24 fps which disappointed us to a great extent. The phone records VGA videos which is good for MMS.

HTC Wildfire S Keyboard

Wildfire S ReviewHTC Wildfire S mobile boasts of an onscreen keyboard which is QWERTY in nature. The keyboard helps you to enter text and numbers and facilitates e-mailing.

HTC Wildfire S Features

We did not have any complaints regarding the connectivity of the HTC Wildfire S. The phone supports both 2G and 3G network and thanks to Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 sharing of local files is a breeze. Connectivity options are fulfilled with the presence of 3.5mm audio jack and microUSB 2.0. The phone also boasts of an FM radio with RDS which will be welcomed by music lovers.

HTC Wildfire S Music Quality

The music player of the device is good enough and with headphones plugged in you the amplitude is quite loud.

HTC Wildfire S Available

The phone is available across all leading HTC retailers across the world.

HTC Wildfire S Release Date

Wildfire S PicturesThe phone was announced in February 2011 and has been released sometime during May 2011.

HTC Wildfire S Unboxing

HTC Wildfire S Battery Life

HTC Wildfire S Price

HTC Wildfire S Price in US is around $ 330 while HTC Wildfire S price in India is approximately Rs 14,800. HTC Wildfire S price in UK is approximately £160.
Low price of the phone along with the latest version of Android is surly the hallmark of HTC Wildfire S. Of course, there are certain HTC Wildfire S disadvantages but then no phone available in the market in the market can be called a perfect phone. The phone is great if you are looking for a cost effective Android phone.

Samsung Infuse 4G Review
Samsung has carved a niche for itself in the smartphone market by rolling out high-end phones. Most of the smartphones rolled out by Samsung are known for their robust looks, slim design and great performances.  Samsung Infuse 4G phone is one device which will be loved by users who love a big display coupled with sleek looks. A glance at the phone made us feel that Samsung had kept the larger aspects in mind while conceptualizing the device. The company has chosen AT&T, which is the biggest network in the United States as the carrier of the phone. Has Samsung done enough to make Samsung Infuse 4G smartphone an exciting buy? Read on the Samsung Infuse 4G review to know for yourself.
Samsung Infuse 4G Feel
The first thing which you will notice about Samsung Infuse 4G phone is its large display. The display measures 4.5 inches and is made up of gorilla glass. Samsung Infuse gorilla glass display will protect the phone from smudges and scratches. So you do not have to worry about the safety of the display if you happen to be a rough user of cell phone. The screen is AMOLED in nature which resolves legibility of the screen in direct sunlight. Samsung Infuse 4G screen resolution measures 480×800 pixels and the screen is also equipped with accelerometer and proximity sensors.
What really impressed us is the fact that despite such a large display, Samsung has been able to keep the design of the phone pretty sleek. Samsung Infuse 4G dimension measures 132 x 71 x 9 mm and the phone weighs 139 grams which makes it a reasonably heavy device. On the left hand side of the phone, you will find the volume rocker button while on the right hand of the device you will find the power button.  Though the phone is made up of plastic, yet it feels solid on being held.

Samsung Infuse 4G Specs

The phone uses Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS. Though Froyo supports various apps, yet we would have been glad if the phone would have featured Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Another thing which disappointed us was the Samsung Infuse 4G processor. The processor is single core in nature while several smartphones released in the market are equipped with dual core processor. You can get details about Samsung Infuse 4G full specs, click here.

Samsung Infuse 4G Memory

Memory is one thing which plays a vital role in selling of any smartphone. Knowing this fact very well, Samsung has taken care it equips Samsung Infuse 4G Android with robust memory. The phone offers an internal memory storage of 16GB. The memory can be increased to 32GB. Such high memory storage is great for storing a large amount of data.

Samsung Infuse 4G Features

Samsung Infuse 4G ReviewPresence of a large amount of in-built apps is one of the major feature of Samsung i997 Infuse 4G. The phone boasts of apps such as Image/video editor, Google Search, Gmail, Google Talk, Picasa Integration etc. Presence of GPS support along with Samsung Infuse 4G HDMI are another great features of device. Through HDMI support you can connect the phone with a television supporting HDMI, thereby allowing you to see the contents of the phone on television. Samsung Infuse 4G Youtube application streamlines Youtube videos on your phone.

Samsung Infuse 4G Keyboard

The phone is equipped with a virtual QWERTY keyboard which has been designed in a manner to fit well in the screen.

Samsung Infuse 4G Camera

Just like memory camera too plays an important role in deciding the selling of the phone. Samsung Infuse 4G is equipped with twin cameras. The rear 8 MP camera clicks pictures of resolution measuring 3264×2448 pixels. The camera is equipped with an LED flash but there is no lens protection. The camera is equipped with the latest features such as geo-tagging, smile detection, image stabilization etc. Most of the images captured are great and provide enough details.

Samsung Infuse 4G Video

Thanks to the Samsung Infuse 4G front facing camera (1.3MP), one can easily carry out video conferencing and capture videos. The 720 p videos captured are great to watch and the flow is pretty smooth.

Samsung Infuse 4G Connectivity And Multimedia

Connectivity is seamless with Samsung Infuse 4G with the phone supporting both 2G and 3G networks. Connectivity is also enhanced by the support for GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Bluetooth 3.0 helps in transferring of local files. With the web browser supporting double tap and zoom, browsing is a delight on the phone.
One of the issues with the phone is the lack of FM radio. However, the Touchwiz music player does a decent job and will be loved by music lovers. Thanks to the presence of DNSe technology in equalizer presets, the performance of the music player is enhanced to a great extent.

Samsung Infuse 4G Unboxing

When we opened the box, we found Samsung Infuse 4G to be equipped with standard accessories such as a charger, 2GB microSD card, microUSB cable and a user manual. Samsung Infuse 4G user manual will help you in better utilizing the phone.

Samsung Infuse 4G Availability

The phone has been released in the USA sometimes in May. There is no official information regarding Samsung Infuse 4G release date in India.

Samsung Infuse 4G Issues

Though there are no major issues with the device, the plastic build, single core-processor, lack of dedicated camera key and lack of Gingerbread are some of the issues with the phone.

Samsung Infuse 4G Price

Samsung Infuse 4G contract price (AT&T) is around $ 200 while without contract the price of the phone in USA is around $ 400. Samsung Infuse 4G price in India is estimated to be around Rs 35,000.
Samsung Infuse 4G is a solidly constructed smartphone which is one of the best you will find in the market. Though the phone suffers from some setbacks yet it is one device which you can use to carry out most of your tasks and applications.

Nokia E6 Review

Nokia E6 review
With the launch of Nokia E6, Finnish mobole phone manufacturer Nokia has expanded its E series of phone. Nokia E6 follows Nokia’s successful models, Nokia E71 and E72. Of late Nokia has been facing stiff competition in the smartphone segment and in order to counter it, Nokia has been trying several things. From announcing of joining hands with Microsoft to upgrading it Symbian OS, it has left no stone unturned to resurrect its market position. Does Nokia E6 has in it to carve a niche for itself in the smartphone market. Check out the Nokia E6 review to know for what this device has in store for you.

Nokia E6 Looks And Design

When you first take a look at the E6 smartphone, almost immediately you get a feel of the solid construction of the device. Premium materials such as glass and stainless steel have been used in construction of the phone which gives it a solid feel. The battery cover and the camera deck is made up of metal. There is some bit of matt plastic too at the top and bottom. The phone is quite slim measuring 115.5 x 59 x 10.5 mm, 66 cc and weighs around 133 grams.

Nokia E6 Display

The phone displays a 2.46 inches display which displays 16M colors of resolution measuring 640×480 pixels. The display almost makes half of the phone and what impressed us most is the fact that the display’s pixel density is more than the retina display of iPhone4. The display of the device is highly responsive in nature and responds to the slightest of touches.
What is further impressive about the display is the fact that it is made of gorilla glass. The gorilla glass display of Nokia E6 protects the phone from smudges and spills and boasts of accelerometer and proximity sensors. Beneath, the display one gets a spacious navigation deck while on the top you will find the volume rocker button. On the left side you get a microUSB port while at the bottom you will find the charger port.

Nokia E6 Apps

Nokia has taken special care to ensure that it packs E6 with business as well as social networking apps. In form of business application, users get QuickOffice Document Editor which allows you to create, edit and share Word, Excel, Power Point and PDF files. In form of social networking apps, users get Facebook and Twitter which helps them to remain connected with their family and friends 24×7. Users can also download several apps from the Ovi store which includes Nokia E6 games.

Nokia E6 Features

Nokia E6 ReviewOne of the major features of Nokia E6 smartphone is its operating system. It runs on Symbian Anna which makes its user-interface morefriendly and improves the performance of the web browser to a great extent. One gets a faster home screen scrolling and the device has been designed to keep users data safe and secure. It supports most the security and authentication policies for corporate emails and device lock and memory wipe further enhances the security. Thanks to the back virtual key, navigation of applications are pretty simple and easy. The phone is equipped with a QWERTY keypad and the keys are well spread out which facilitates typing and sending mails.

Nokia E6 Specification

As said earlier that E6 Nokia runs on Symbian Anna which is an upgrade of the Symbian OS. We were a bit disappointed to find that the phone runs on 680 MHz processor. There are smartphones which run on dual core-processors. The phone offers robust storage with an internal storage of 8GB. The memory can be increased to 32GB with the help of a microSD card. For full Nokia E6 Specifications, click here.

Nokia E6 Gallery

Nokia E6 ReviewThere is no change in gallery of Symbian Anna and that of Symbian^3. However, kinetic scrolling is the only new edition. The gallery has nothing new to offer. There is the familiar pinch gesture along with double tapping and on-screen slider. Picture browsing is pretty fast even during zooming.

Nokia E6 Camera Quality

Nokia E6 QWERTY is equipped with a 8MP camera which is capable of clicking pictures of resolution measuring 264 x 2448 pixels. The camera has dual-LED flash which helps you to click sharper images in dim light. We were disappointed to find that the camera is not an auto-focused one. The contrast and colors of the images clicked were pretty sharp. But we felt that the UI of the camera could have been better.

Nokia E6 Video

Despite not having an auto-focused camera, video recording of Nokia E6 Anna is pretty good. The phone records 720p videos@ 25 fps. Just like Nokia N8, Nokia E6 uses zooming technique which allows you to zoom up to 3X while shooting 720 p videos. The Youtube videos played by Nokia E6 were also pretty good.

Nokia E6 Connectivity And Multimedia

Nokia has equipped E6 with solid connectivity options. You get all connectivity options at your disposal. The phone supports both 2G and 3G network. It also supports GPRS (Class 33) and EDGE (Class 33). Local connectivity of the device is consolidated by the presence of Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n along with 3.5 mm audio jack. Presence of UBS 2.0 completes all the connectivity options of the device.  With Symbian Anna, performance of E6 web browser is improved manifold.
Multimedia options with Nokia E6 Anna are also pretty good. The phone has a FM radio which has a simple UI with RDS. The video player of the device is one of the best you will find the market which supports DivX and Xvid file formats and supports various other file formats. The audio output of the phone is also very good and was pretty loud.

Nokia E6 Launch Date

The phone was announced in April 2011 and has been launched in June 2011.

Nokia E6 Availability

The phone is available with all the leading Nokia mobile dealers across the globe.

Nokia E6 Accessories

During Nokia E6 unboxing, we found the phone with accessories such as a charger, microUSB cable, headset and user guide. Nokia E6 user guide will help users to better utilize their phone.

Nokia E6 Colors

The phone is available in three colors – white, black and silver.

Nokia E6 Battery Life

The phone is equipped with a standard Li-Ion 1500 mAH which offers a talk time of around 14 hours when the phone operated on 2G and around 7 hours when the phone operates on 3G.
Nokia E6 price in India is approximately Rs 18,500 (approx).  Nokia E6 is one of the robust smartphones you will find in the market. The great build of the phone coupled with its advanced features along with Symbian Anna OS and other configuration makes Nokia E6-00 one of the best Eseries smartphones you will find in the market.

LG Optimus 3D Review

LG Optimus 3D Review
Looking for a phone which gives you 3D experience? Well, then LG Optimus 3D can very well be the phone for you. With LG losing market share in the smartphone segment the company decided to come up with new products. While LG Optimus 2X was the first dual-core smartphone to hit the market, LG Optimus 3D is the first 3D smartphone which looks forward to cash upon the craze of 3D technology. But is it the only factor major USP of the phone? Check out our LG Optimus 3D review to know the answer for yourself.

Design And Looks

Despite of the plastic construction of the device, it looks very elegant. The front of the phone is a mixture of faux brushed metal while the back of the phone boasts of rubbery plastic with a metal stripe. The phone measures 128.8 x 68 x 11.9 mm which makes it a slightly chubbier. The phone is quite bulky weighing 168 grams. This can be issue with those who like to carry light phones. The phone is quite thick which makes it a bit difficult to handle. Because of the thickness you will not find the phone to easy to grip. However, overall LG has done a fine job in giving a robust look to the phone.

Display

LG Optimus 3D phone displays a 4.3 inches 3D LCD capacitive touch screen display which displays 16M colors of resolution measuring 480×800 pixels. The screen is one of the key features of the phone. The display and brightness of the screen is pretty good and the viewing angles are also very good. Sunlight legibility of the screen is decent, though we felt that it could have been made better. Though the screen does not rival AMOLED ones or retina display’s legibility in the sun, but then AMOLED or retina display does not boast of 3D technology.
The 3D mode works in landscape mode and the viewing is dependent on parallex-barrier technology. You will slowly get used to it. The 3D effects are pretty impressive and very soon we expect to see other phones to be equipped with the technology.

Features

3D is undoubtedly one of the major USPs of the phone. Apart from it the dual core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor is another rich feature of the device. Thanks to the dual core processor, operations are ramped up and watching videos and playing games are enhanced to a great extent. LG Optimus 3D dual core has also several in-built apps such as Google Search, Gmail, Google Talk etc. Because of the powerful processor, watching Youtube videos on LG Optimus 3D is a delight. With document viewer/editor, one can edit and read MS Docs.

Specs

LG Optimus 3D Smartphone ReviewWe were disappointed to find that LG Optimus 3D runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo). At a time when Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) is already out in the market we expected LG to pack the device with Gingerbread. But LG has promised that it will soon push Gingerbread update into the phone. The phone offers robust storage with an internal memory storage of 8GB. One can increase the memory to 32GB with the help of a microSD card. For full LG Optimus 3D specifications, click here.

Interface

The Froyo interface of the phone is quite speedy and you will find a series of seven scrollable Home screens. Most of the operations are pretty smooth and pinch to zoom is supported very well. You can resize widgets like Weather and Calendar with long tap and most of the interface is pretty much similar to LG Optimus 2X. The phone has a virtual QWERTY keypad which helps you to easily type messages and e-mail.

Camera Performance

One of the major reasons for the heavyweight of LG Optimus 3D is the presence of a couple of 5MP camera sensors which helps you to capture 3D images and videos. With the help of the camera application you can switch between 2D and 3D mode. The camera is equipped with advanced features such as autofocus, LED flash and geo-tagging. The camera captures images of resolution measuring 2560х1920 pixels. With the 3D picture effect, the quality of the images is very good. However, in some cases the details of the images were not that very good. The camera supports digital zoom and various focus modes.

Video Quality

Video Quality of LG Optimus 3D smartphone is very good. In 2D mode, the phone captures 1080p videos@ 30fps while in 3D mode, the videos captured are at 720p@30fps. The videos rendered are very smooth and crisp.

Connectivity And Multimedia

Optimus 3D ReviewLG has ensured that connectivity remains solid with Optimus 3D. The phone supports both 2G as well as 3G network. With Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, DLNA and Wi-Fi hotspot, local connectivity of the device is increased to a great extent. You can have Bluetooth 3.0 supporting A2DP and EDR profile for sharing local files. You also have an HDMI port which helps you to connect the phone to a television having a HDMI port. MicroUSB 2.0 along with 3.5mm audio jack further makes Optimus 3D a connectivity friendly device.
A negative aspect of the phone is the absence of FM radio in the phone. Feature phones available in the market have FM radio. The audio quality of the device however is pretty good and we did not experience much problem in hearing even in crowded places.

Battery Life

Battery Life is one aspect where Optimus 3D is not quite an enticer. The phone is equipped with a standard Li-Ion 1500mAh battery which provides a talk time of around 4 hours. We felt that the battery life could have been improved.
